Aangedreven door een dieselgeneratorset, is hij uitgerust met verwarmingssystemen voor de brandstof- en hydraulische systemen, waardoor hij in omgevingen met lage temperaturen kan worden gebruikt. Hij omvat uitgebreide veiligheids- en overbelastingsbeveiligingsvoorzieningen om de veiligheid van zowel operators als apparatuur te maximaliseren.
