Etter avkj\u00f8ling, st\u00f8rkning og rengj\u00f8ring oppn\u00e5s den forh\u00e5ndsbestemte formen, st\u00f8rrelsen og ytelsen til de st\u00f8pte kranskivene. Fordi de st\u00f8pte kranskivenes emner er nesten ferdigformet, brukes frimaskinering eller sm\u00e5skalamaskinering, noe som reduserer kostnader og produksjonstid til en viss grad. Denne metoden gir lave produksjonskostnader og h\u00f8y effektivitet.
