YZ225t Foundry Overhead Crane for Efficient Molten Metal Handling

Hebei Iron and Steel Group achieved a breakthrough in molten metal handling in its steelmaking workshop by adopting our YZ225t foundry overhead crane. Featuring a hydraulic synchronous lifting system, an intelligent monitoring platform, and a four-girder, four-rail structure, the crane significantly improves lifting efficiency and safety, providing an efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly material handling solution for the metallurgical industry. This project extends metallurgical crane applications to ultra-heavy loads and extremely high-temperature environments, setting a benchmark for technological advancement in the industry.

Агляд абсталявання

To improve molten metal handling efficiency in its steelmaking workshop, Hebei Iron and Steel Group introduced the YZ225t foundry overhead crane with the following specifications:

• Structure: Four-girder, four-rail configuration with two main girders
• Span: 30 m
• Lifting height: 24 m for the main trolley and 26 m for the auxiliary trolley
• Hydraulic synchronous lifting system: Six lifting points with a synchronization error of ≤0.1 mm
• Control modes: Wireless remote control and cabin operation
• Standards and certification: Compliance with GB/T 3811 crane design specifications and ISO 12482 safety certification

The crane is specifically designed for the high-temperature, heavy-dust conditions of metallurgical facilities.

Асноўныя сцэнарыі прыкладанняў

Перадача гарачага металу ў каўш

• Task: Lifting a 200-ton hot metal ladle measuring 4 m in diameter and 5 m in height.
• Results: The hydraulic synchronous lifting system, combined with laser alignment, reduced lifting time from 3 hours to 1 hour while keeping verticality deviation within 1/1000.

Бесперапыннае ліццё сталёвых загатоўак

• Task: Repeatedly lifting 120-ton steel billets measuring 15 m in length and 2 m in width.
• Results: The four-girder, four-rail structure reduced deflection, enabling smooth, sway-free handling during continuous casting and reducing the scrap rate by 40%.

Каардынаваная праца некалькіх кранаў

• Task: Simultaneously lifting three continuously cast billets, each weighing 80 tons.
• Results: The control system synchronized crane speed and position, increasing operational efficiency by 50% and reducing energy consumption by 30%.
