
Ansteel Group has achieved a breakthrough in molten metal handling technology in steelmaking workshops by using our YZ140t foundry overhead cranes. Featuring a hydraulic synchronous lifting system, an intelligent monitoring platform, and a four-beam, four-rail structure as its core advantages, the equipment greatly improves lifting efficiency and safety, providing an “efficient, safe, and green” logistics solution for the metallurgical industry. This project has promoted the expansion of YZ foundry overhead cranes into ultra-large tonnage and ultra-high temperature applications, becoming a benchmark for technological upgrading in the industry.
Founded in 1958, Anyang Iron & Steel Group (Ansteel) is headquartered in Yindu District, Anyang. It has grown into one of China’s leading large-scale integrated steel enterprises. Ansteel is the core steel production base in Henan Province. The Group covers the full industrial chain: mining, coking, smelting, mechanical processing and logistics. It operates advanced production lines, including a 4,800m³ blast furnace and a 1,780mm hot strip mill. Ansteel has built a strategic layout of “one center, four bases, multiple industries.”
To improve the efficiency of molten metal handling in steelmaking workshops, Ansteel Group introduced the YZ140t YZ foundry overhead cranes. The equipment adopts a four-beam, four-rail dual-main-girder structure with a span of 25 meters, a lifting height of 20 meters (main trolley), and 22 meters (auxiliary trolley). It is equipped with a hydraulic synchronous lifting system (4 lifting points, synchronization error ≤0.1 mm), and supports wireless remote control and dual-mode cabin operation.
The entire crane complies with GB/T 3811 crane design standards and has passed ISO 12482 safety certification, making it particularly suitable for high-temperature and high-dust environments in the metallurgical industry.
