Ansteel Group has achieved a breakthrough in molten metal handling technology in steelmaking workshops by using our YZ140t foundry overhead cranes. Foundry Overhead Cranes Equipment Overview

To improve the efficiency of molten metal handling in steelmaking workshops, Ansteel Group introduced the YZ140t YZ foundry overhead cranes. The equipment adopts a four-beam, four-rail dual-main-girder structure with a span of 25 meters, a lifting height of 20 meters (main trolley), and 22 meters (auxiliary trolley). It is equipped with a hydraulic synchronous lifting system (4 lifting points, synchronization error ≤0.1 mm), and supports wireless remote control and dual-mode cabin operation.
The entire crane complies with GB/T 3811 crane design standards and has passed ISO 12482 safety certification, making it particularly suitable for high-temperature and high-dust environments in the metallurgical industry.

Iron Ladle Transfer

  • Task: Hoisting a 120-ton iron ladle (diameter 3 m, height 4 m).
  • Effectiveness: The hydraulic synchronization system, combined with the laser centering device, shortens the traditional 2-hour lifting cycle to 45 minutes, while maintaining verticality deviation within 1/1000.

Billet Continuous Casting

  • Task: Continuous lifting of 80-ton billets (length 12 m, width 1.5 m).
  • Effectiveness: The dual-main-girder structure reduces vertical deflection, ensuring a stable casting process with no shaking, and reduces scrap rate by 30%.

Multi-Crane Cooperation

  • Task: Simultaneous lifting of two continuous-casting blanks (60 tons each).
