Client Profile

Shijiazhuang Iron & Steel Group (Shisteel) is a large-scale integrated steel manufacturer specializing in high-quality structural steel, alloy steel, and special steel products. With continuous expansion of its steelmaking capacity and increasing requirements for safety and efficiency, the group launched an upgrade project for molten metal handling in its steelmaking workshop.

To support this upgrade, Shisteel introduced the DAFANG CRANE YZ160t Foundry Overhead Crane to enhance ladle handling reliability, operational safety, and production efficiency.

Project Overview

Shisteel adopted the YZ160t Foundry Overhead Crane to significantly improve molten metal handling efficiency within the steelmaking workshop. The crane features a four-girder, four-rail double-main-girder design with a 28m span, a main hoist lifting height of 22m, and an auxiliary hoist lifting height of 24m. Equipped with a hydraulic synchronous lifting system—featuring five lifting points with a synchronization accuracy of ≤0.1 mm—the crane supports both wireless remote control and operator cabin modes.

The equipment complies with GB/T 3811 design standards and ISO 12482 safety certification, and is engineered specifically for high-temperature and heavy-dust metallurgical environments.
