Bridge crane mainly includes lifting mechanism, running mechanism, luffing mechanism, slewing mechanism and metal structure, etc.. Lifting mechanism is the basic working mechanism of the overhead crane, mostly composed of hanging system and winch, there are also through the hydraulic system to lift heavy objects.

Running mechanism for longitudinal horizontal transport of heavy objects or adjust the working position of the overhead crane, generally by the motor, reducer, brake and wheel composition. The luffing mechanism is only equipped on the overhead crane, the amplitude of the jib is reduced when it is raised and increased when it is lowered, divided into two kinds of balanced luffing and unbalanced luffing. The slewing mechanism is used to make the jib slew, which is composed of driving device and slewing support device.


Metal structure is the skeleton of the overhead crane, the main load-bearing parts such as the bridge can be box structure or truss structure, can also be web structure, some available steel as a support beam.

Bridge crane is an essential tool for indoor and outdoor cargo handling, can greatly improve the productivity of enterprises, is an essential production tool. The following to explain to you the attention of several more important parts of the overhead crane.

1.Hook group: is to take the device, the hook surface must not have cracks.

2.Pulley set: divided into dynamic pulley set and fixed pulley set. The surface shall not have cracks; work pulley rotation flexible. After the pulley is broken, welding is not allowed to repair.

3.Wire rope: no broken wire, broken strand, knotted, rusted, pitting.

4.Reel group: is used in the hoisting mechanism to wind the wire rope parts.

5.Reducer: is the high speed of the motor, reduce to the working speed required by the institutions. The reducer runs smoothly, there should be no jumping, crashing and violent or intermittent noise, the sound is even, and the fastening and coupling should not be loose.

6.Coupling: It is used to connect two coaxially arranged or basically parallel shafts to transmit torque and compensate a little angle and radial offset.

7.Brake: Generally installed on the high-speed shaft of the mechanism to reduce the braking torque. Brake pads shall not have burnt phenomenon and burnt smell; brake wheel friction surface shall not have oil stain.

8.Wheel set: The wheels are assembled together with the angular bearing box to form a wheel set. The wheel rim should be reported in time when it is less than 10 mm, and closely observed.

9.Buffer: Used to absorb the energy generated when the crane (or trolley) collides with the stopper (or bumper) or adjacent cranes on the same span.

10.Resistor: An electrical appliance used to limit the motor current.
