Product Introduction
Single girder overhead cranes are the most cost effective purchase for capacity 20 tons and 18m span. The single girder overhead crane is usually classed as 3 types, LD type , low headroom type, LDP type. It is widely and popular used for generic workshop, warehouse, material yard, etc. Which lifting mechanism is matched with CD (single lifting speed)/MD (double lifting speed) electric hoist. It is consist of the following parts:
End trucks——Located on either side of the span, the end trucks house the wheels on which the entire crane travels. These wheels travel on the runway beam allowing access to the entire length of the bay.
Bridge girders——The principal horizontal beam of the crane bridge which supports the trolley and is supported by the end trucks.
Hoist——The hoist is mounted on the main girder, there are two basic types of hoist. The wire rope hoist which is very durable and will provide long term, reliable usage. The other type is Chain hoist, which used for lower capacity, lighter duty accplications and for projects in which cost is a primary deciding factor.

Hang on the coil holder, for hoist power supply, normal we equipped flat type cable, also have explosion-proof type.

Electric Hoist
Traveling on main girder, for crane lifting. Usually equipped CD/MD/ Low head room hoist by different crane.
Main Girder
Linked with end beam, for hoist traversing, usually design normal type and box type to meet customer’s request.

LD single girder overhead crane
- Widely used for normal workshop
- The main girder is U type in the production process, and fully finished one time, reduce the stress concentration pont.
- electric hoist travesing below the main gider
- Lifting mechanism is equipped electric hoist (CD/MD type).
- Cheap price with stable performance.
Low headroom type single girder overhead crane
- Usually used for the workshop which upper space is limit, but customer want to reach a specified lifting height. We design this solution to meet customer’s request.
- The main girder is box type. Low headroom type electric hoist travesing below the main gider, but on both side of main girder.
- Lifting mechanism is equipped low headroom electric hoist, but different with CD/MD hoist, the structure is different. And more artistic.
LDP type single girder overhead crane
- Usually used for the workshop whole height is limit, but customer want to reached a max lifting height, As the upper space is enough, We design this solution to meet customer’s request
- The main girder is box type. Low headroom type electric hoist travesing on the main gider, but on one side of main girder.
- Lifting mechanism is equipped LDP type electric hoist, different with other two type hoists.
Underslung single girder overhead crane
- Underslung crossing the rail crane is special crane for thermal power plant mill house, mainly for coal grinding equipment maintenance, lifting and handling general parts
- Operating principle: single beam (or single fixed rail),connect with double girder crane which runs on the I-beam track.
- It is similar with normal type LD single girder overhead crane, just traveling below the runway beam.
- Also usually equipped with CD/MD electric hoist.
