Tsinghua University New Energy Experts Visit Dafang Crane for Research and Guidance

On the afternoon of July 24, a delegation led by Professor Gao Lei from Tsinghua University’s Academy of Future Education, along with new energy experts Ma Xiaoyong, Xiao Yuming, and Li Ying, visited Dafang for research and guidance. The delegation was accompanied by Xu Shengjun, Executive Vice President of the Zhejiang Xinxiang Chamber of Commerce; Wei Zhiqiang, Manager of the Changyuan Branch of the State Grid Xinxiang Power Supply Service Company; Li Weijuan, General Manager of Henan Dongfeng Crane Machinery Co., Ltd.; and Hu Xu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Dafang.

The delegation visited several facilities, including the Party Building Exhibition Hall, Technical Testing Center, Technology Experience Center, single- and double-girder workshops, smart workshop, and bridge workshop, gaining an in-depth understanding of Dafang’s operations and production processes.

During the visit, Hu Xu provided a detailed report on Dafang’s recent development trends, technological innovation, and operational progress. He highlighted Dafang’s achievements in developing intelligent cranes, rocket-launch cranes, and new planetary-driven cranes, emphasizing the company’s focus on smart, green, and digitalized product innovation.

At a subsequent discussion meeting, Hu Xu warmly welcomed the experts and introduced Dafang’s recent accomplishments. The discussions covered the current status and prospects of green, low-carbon development in the crane industry, as well as potential collaborations with the new energy sector. The visiting experts affirmed Dafang’s operational achievements, offering several suggestions for integrated development with the new energy industry. They encouraged Dafang to align with national strategies, strengthen its technological innovation, accelerate new product development, and foster new production capacities.
