Standard Overhead and Gantry Crane Drums

Size: Dia. 300 mm - Dia. 3000 mm; materials include Q235, Q345, and 45# steel.
Heat Treatment: Hardening and tempering, high-frequency quenching, carburizing quenching, and more.
Quenched Groove Surface: HRC 45-55 hardness with hardening depth greater than 2 mm.
Main Application: Hoisting mechanisms for standard overhead cranes and gantry cranes.

European-Type Overhead and Gantry Crane Drums

Q355 steel drum body up to 3 m diameter, with uniform wall thickness and high load capacity.
CNC-turned rope grooves, compact structure, anti-offset design, ultrasonic weld inspection, and annealed body.

Metallurgical Crane Drums

Wall thickness is 20%-30% greater than conventional drums for demanding metallurgical crane duty.
Compatible with standard QDY cranes; brake disc and drum are machined as one unit for high accuracy.

Winch Drums

Welded Q235 or Q345 steel plates with optimized multi-layer winding and groove design.
Zigzag grooves reduce rope friction and wear; supports up to 14 winding layers for long-lift applications.

5CNC Machining

CNC lathes machine the drum surface and shaft ends precisely, with tolerances controlled within +/-0.05 mm.

6Rope Groove Turning

Uniform helical rope grooves are turned on the drum surface to prepare for stable wire rope winding.

7Induction Hardening

Induction hardening raises groove surface hardness to 55-60 HRC, effectively extending wire rope service life.

8Dimensional Inspection

External micrometers check outer diameter, pitch, and groove depth against design and technical specifications.

9Surface Coating

Industrial spray coating, 80-120 micrometers thick, provides corrosion protection and improves service durability.
